Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information We Buy Self Storage Facilities (“we”, “us”) collects through webuyssf.com, why we collect it, and who else sees it. We buy self-storage facilities directly from owners, so almost everything here concerns information an owner sends us when asking for an offer.
What we collect
Information you give us
When you submit the offer-request form, we collect what you type into it:
- Your name, email address, and phone number
- The facility's street address, city, state, and postal code
- Details you choose to share about the facility — target sale price, unit count, occupancy, lot size, building size
- Anything you write in the free-text notes field
You can also reach us by phone or email instead, in which case we hold whatever you choose to tell us.
Information collected automatically
- Your IP address, which is recorded with your form submission and used to limit how many submissions come from one source.
- Standard server logs kept by our hosting provider — IP address, browser type, the pages requested, and timestamps.
- Bot-protection signals. The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which examines browser and device characteristics to tell people apart from automated scripts. It is used to block abuse, not to track you across other websites.
How we use it
- To evaluate your facility and prepare an offer
- To contact you about that offer and any resulting transaction
- To prevent spam, fraud, and abuse of the form
- To understand how the site is used, so we can improve it
- To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations
We do not use your information to make automated decisions about you, and we do not send marketing email to people who have not contacted us.
Who else sees it
We use a small number of service providers, and share only what each one needs:

We may also share information with professional advisers (such as lawyers or accountants), or where we are required to by law or legal process. If our business is ever sold or merged, information may transfer as part of that transaction.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for advertising purposes. This site carries no advertising pixels or data-broker trackers.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use this site — which pages are viewed, roughly where visitors are located, and which links are clicked. Google Analytics sets cookies and receives your IP address. We use it to improve the site, not to build advertising profiles. You can prevent it entirely with a browser extension, an ad blocker, or by enabling “Do Not Track” in browsers that honour it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry information for as long as we need it to evaluate and pursue the potential transaction, and afterwards for as long as required for legal, tax, and accounting purposes. The abuse-prevention counters that limit form submissions store a hashed — not readable — form of your IP address and email address, and expire automatically within 24 hours.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Form submissions are verified and rate-limited before they are accepted, and the credentials that make that possible are held server-side where they are not exposed to visitors. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
- Ask what we hold. Email us and we will tell you what information we have about you.
- Correct it. Tell us if anything is wrong and we will fix it.
- Ask us to delete it. We will, unless we are required to keep it.
- Stop hearing from us. Ask and we will stop contacting you.
- Opt out of analytics. Use a browser extension or ad blocker, or a browser privacy setting that blocks analytics scripts.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local privacy law — including the right to know what personal information is collected, to request its deletion, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. To make any request, email offers@webuyssf.com and we will respond within the time your local law allows.
Children
This site is aimed at commercial property owners and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the “last updated” date above.
